10 Year Anniversary

The 2019 Hispanic Heritage Month Breakfast is Oregon’s official kick-off celebration for Hispanic Heritage Month.  Representatives from the private sector, public institutions, non-profits, and public elected officials/candidates will also join us to celebrate the contributions Hispanics have made to Oregon and the US.

2018 Keynote Speaker

Roy Juarez, Jr.

Roy Juarez, Jr. founded America’s Business Leaders, a human development company, in 2005 when he was just a freshman at Hardin-Simmons University. With a dream to inspire youth and reunite families, Juarez began sharing his turbulent history to touch the lives of youth, educators, and parents.

Juarez’s story and work have garnered national media attention on outlets such as CNN and Chicken Soup for the Soul. Most recently, he partnered with Ford’s Driving Dreams Tour to inspire students to graduate on time and pursue a higher education. In addition, Juarez has been featured in many local and online publications.
